Aside from Cloudwheels, ShredLights are the best accessory to put on your electric skateboard.

For those who are looking to take their eboards out for a ride after the sun goes down, let me introduce you to the maker of the best electric skateboard lights.

ShredLights lit up the eskate world with their first round of products which were extremely durable and bright lights that you could mount to your eboard.

Now they’re back with a completely redesigned mounting system which not only allows you to easily attach them to your deck but you can literally put them almost anywhere.

In their ShredLights Night Ops pack, you get three white lights, three red lights, curved sticky mounts with dual lock velcro, an action clip and every type of skateboard mounting bracket.

Plus you get a bunch of stickers.

If being able to easily mount lights on your eboard and having the ability to quickly swap them in and out isn’t enough, let me tell you about some other places you can stick your beams.

The Night Ops pack comes with a set of curved mounts specifically for being able to attach your ShredLights to your helmet.

You get two curved mounts, so you can either mount a white one at the front and a red for the back, or two headlights at the front, or really any combo you want.
The sticky mounts connect the ShredLights to your helmet by using a 3M Dual Lock velcro so it is extremely tough and won’t fall off while you’re riding but it allows you to change the angle of the light or completely remove them easily.

Also in the Night Ops pack you get an Action Clip which is the real game-changer here.

It’s basically a form of a crocodile clip that is designed to attach to your backpack straps or pockets, or literally anywhere it could clip to.

Then you can mount the ShredLights to the Action Clip for extra visibility.

So, now with these two mounting systems, you can get creative with where you put your lights.

I’ve got a bit of a list here of some other places you can mount your ShredLights but I want to fill it out a little more, so comment below your favourite places to mount and I’ll update the list.

  • On top of your wristguards/gloves for a directable light while keeping your hands free (plus it totally makes you feel like Ironman)
  • On your rear belt loop for extra visibility
