Badass lights, lil short on life span

I’ve had a number of pair of these lights now and here are my pros and cons.

Pros
1) customer service. By far, bar none, best customer service of ANY company I’ve experienced
2) brightness. They have 3 “modes” or brightness levels, but when cranked up you can see it for miles if it’s flat.
3) Portability. I like the fact that, as long as u have the mounts you can switch them out and put them on different boards.
4) aesthetics . When all is said and done, they just look bad ass.

Now the cons, and there really only is one, but it’s a big one.
1). Longevity. Like I said I’ve had numerous pairs, they always start off strong, but tend to fall apart quickly or begin to have charging problems. Even though this has been a consistent problem, I will say this. Having worked for many start ups myself I realize there always have to be improvement after inception. Now their lights have gotten allot better since when I first got them but there still is room for improvement, especially the charging issue.,it’ll work fine the first handful of times, and then slowly but surely they will only charge if pointed in a certain direction, then finally, only when your actually holding the charger in manually. Now be it that this is a pain, this is where there customer service shines. Any time I’ve had an issue they have gone above and beyond to rectify it. Every new company/product is going to have some hiccups and growing pains, it’s HOW the company handles it that separates companies like Amazon with, whatever competitors that they prob once had and have since disappeared into obscurity. ShredLights is a brand that genuinely cares about their customers and it’s for that reason that I continue to be an advocate even with the product issues. I hope they work out the kinks soon, if they do they are well positioned to be the dominant force in their market.

Didn't receive it

I live in Martinique F.W.I (no shipping here) so I had it shipped to my friend in Paris France. But he wasn't home when delivered and could not go pick either. So the package went back. Can you ship it to me in Martinique, or can you refund ?
